While in Belhaven for the meeting I stopped by Poppy’s Pies and ordered “The Captain” Chicago style. Its ingredient list was odd for your typical pizza but it was awesome. Topped with bacon, smoked Gouda, cream cheese, chives and Ritz Crackers then dressed with sweet chili glaze all cooked in a brick oven. Unlike most pizzas this one didn’t have marinara so I had zero heartburn after eating it.
