I was told you're not Toyota Exclusive, but you're free to laugh me out of here anyway, lol. I moved here in Feb and just picked up a new Bronco Sport Badlands w/ Sasquatch pkg. I've taken it out on some easy local trails and I'm loving the vehicle and the hobby so far.

If you'll have me, I would love to see what kind of crazy rigs you have and hit the trails sometime. I'm sure a lot of you are probably cruising on 35"+ tires but I'm on 29's, rear locker, skid plates and the essential recovery gear squared away. Final note: I wanted to get Toyota but damn, these regional distributors love to load them up with garbage addons. Hate it.

First, welcome :flipoff2: <- official MUD welcome. You can certainly check out our group. Yes, we are a Toyota club, but some of our members also drive other brands. We have a large mix of rigs, from stock to Moab capable. Check out the sticky for our monthly breakfast. Also, there is another group in ABQ that has more diversity, though they are Jeep heavy. New Mexico 4 Wheelers - https://www.nm4w.org/

I get this. I just bought a Tacoma. The local dealers were only interested in selling me the trucks they had on the lot with a bunch of "value added" bling. I ended up getting what I wanted out of state.

Thanks! I'll check it out. Here sounds more interesting since I know Toyotas and since I'm allergic to a gaggle of Jeep bros. No offense to Jeep bros.

You don't have to convince us of our anti-Jeep snobbery. We own it. I have some older 4Runners that might be on the 'auction' block soon. I've got 3 of them and planning on downsizing with kids getting married, going off to college. Plus, I'm contemplating buying a GX460 or LX570 and could use the cash.

I reckon he REALLY wants a Toyota. I mean, I'd have a serious identity crisis too if I were him, and this is a support group, doncha know. You know you can't just have one vehicle, I mean seriously, that's just not even normal.

All he needs to do is show up to a breakfast and he will be slobbering for a Toyota. The question is which one should I bring? Which one should you bring? Which one should August and Nancy bring? Which one should Grant bring? I could go on ... we are a horrible influence.

Well, when you come across a good deal, it's hard to pass up. But then later on when you have to pay the insurance bill for 5 vehicles, you start wondering what you were thinking.

I'm just at a point where I'm hoping the inevitable scratches and dings on my new shiny are outweighed by the exhilaration of unleashing my inner child. My first attempt at a midlife crisis was a Onewheel. Didn't work out for my ACL or Tibia. This might be safer....jury's still out!

Now that I'm old insurance is a lot cheaper. I have 9 vehicles and my house on my policy and am buying another motorcycle probably today. I think the most I pay for liability insurance on one vehicle is $28 a month.
