Cruiser Rookie said:Well bad news regarding my situation. The transmission did pile up.The cause was simply a lack of oil or should i say that the quick lube place that i had do the service negelected to change the fluids at all.
Greg_B said:Tapage...did the hose come pressed into the barb fittings already? Looks like you might have some room yet to cut and make sure it is as stright line (so to speak) as possible.

crushers said:i will bet there was excessive fluid in the t/case for quite some time. the seal went between the tranny and the t/case. no rhyme or reason, the fluid can end up going either way...
might as well do the clutch and the rear engine seal at the same time....
crushers said:if you reread this post you will see where a customer of mine had a toasted t/case for this exact reason. there is no rhyme or reason for the direction of the flow, i have seen both often. although the tranny into the t/case is more prevenlent in my findings.
