Starting a knuckle rebuild and I've pulled the cover off of my warn hub by removing the 6 allen head bolts. Then removed the snap ring but am unsure how to remove the rest of the hub.

Couple of other threads reference removing a bolt where the screwdriver is pointing but I don't see that bolt.

Can someone help with me with the next step?

Did you remove the 6 nuts around the outside perimeter of the hub? Looks like you have a chrome trim ring on there that might be hiding them.

I see those and i can't seem to get a socket up in there to reach them because the chrome trim ring is pressed up against those nuts

He's right. Remove the chrome and loosen the 6 nuts. Don't take them completely off until you;ve loosened the hub body with a rubber mallet or something similar. The washers under the nuts will either be split or cone washers. If they're cone washers, give the side of the hub a good hard tap at each stud with the nuts backed up a quarter of an inch or so. Remove the nuts completely and the cone washers become bullets when they let loose. You don't want to know how I learned that.

After the hub body is off you'll need a hub wrench. There are two stacked in there with a star washer in between. Take a flat head screw driver and bend the tabs of the star off of the large nut before you loosen. Worst case (you can't get a hub wrench) you can use a flat head screw driver to "chisel" the nut off.

Beat, cut, tear, eat... However you do it, get rid of the chrome ring and throw it away. You don't want it on there forcing your hub to rust.

Thanks for quick response. I understand what your saying about the 6 nuts but not sure how to get the chrome trim ring off???

Do you have a way to cut that chrome ring?.
You don't need to put it back.

The chrome thing on my truck had to be cut off.

It's a press fit. It should have come off with the wheel/tire but rust will get between the ring and the hub and make it a pretty tight fit. You're likely going to do a bit of swearing. I'd hose the inside of it down with Kroil, PB Blaster, or wD-40, grip it with some vice grips and give it a tug.

Working a flat screwdriver between the base of the chrome ring and the disc is a good way to start. Spray a little penetrant there. There is a lip on the outter portion of the chrome, use the screwdriver as a lever against the hub body and work that lip up little by little.

50/50 mix of Acetone and ATF (Auto Transmission Fluid) - let it soak for 15 mins. It'll help break ANYTHING loose.

Take a chisel and hammer and just cut it off. Once you have it cut it will slide right off. There is nothing worth saving there anyway. you don't have to make it more difficult than necessary.

Im on it. I shot with on pb blaster early am, went hunting and am now back ready to throw some muscle at it.

Thanks guys.. Pry'd it with screwdriver until you have no more leverage. Then used the claw of a hammer to work it off. Took about 5 mins. No cuss words, no sweat.

Whatever the name of that part is.. It's in the trash...

No worries its not really a part anyway. That ring came with your rims more than likely and most of us know how to get them off for a very good reason.

When washing parts today I noticed that there were some spacers that had broken tabs/tangs on them. Scoured internet looking for a parts kit of some sort and found replacement kits but none of them had the spacers that I have.

Anyone know what part that is that I'm calling a spacer?

Also, can anyone tell me what model hubs they are by referencing pics in 1st post? It's a 30 spline.

What you are calling a spacer is actually a bolt locking tab. Depending on who you buy your rebuild kit from it may have the same tabs or it may have washers and lock washers. The tab is bent up to prevent the bolt from coming loose.

Any idea how to tell what model of hub it is? Also, if you look to the rt of the last picture you will see the nut and 2 washers. Each bolt had the locking tab, brass washer and looks like a locking washer then the bolt. Some of the lock washers were spread apart as well..

As long as your axles are 30 spline then you have Warn Premium model 28771. These instructions should help.
