Ok, I have three things I need help with. One easy, the other, well.... it may be easy for one who has done it before.

First, can someone work with me on the install of my Hella horns? The diagram is straight forward to me, as is relay, BUT... I am trying to figure out the OEM wiring, since I think it may have broken off when I removed the old horns. The second one, involves a sawzall which I do not have. Yes, boys and girls, I am itching to put my snorkel on. Anyone on here want to work on it with me? As in doing the cutting, and we can mount it together. The third, I need the gas struts installed for the hood. I have all the parts, and anything else is needed for these jobs, I will supply on my dime.

I am in S. Charlotte- Quail Hollow, willing to come to you within the Charlotte area- I cannot work on my rig in my apartment complex, we can work out a mutual day and time.

Payment? Let's negotiate. I am sure that most will want green and I am OK with that, but since I am assisting, I am sure it will be reasonable, and perhaps good beer to sweeten the deal. Or, bicycle related parts, since I do work at a bike shop.

Cheers.

IIRC a hole saw is preferred to a sawzall for the fender hole. There might be someone local that has the proper size you can borrow, but I think it's considered a right of passage to do the damage yourself. ;)

I can help with the struts and horns. Possibly next week before Thursday, definitely after 12/4. Not too far away at Providence/Old Providence Rds. Fairly flexible schedule.

Come out to the Xmas party on Friday or Saturday next week and I guarantee you someone will show up with the right hole saw and might even be talked into doing the cut for you!

I have a hole saw I bought brand new. Only been used to do my snorkel. You are welcome to use it. I can bring it to the Barn at the christmas party if you want.

Like you can see most people here will be happy giving you the tools to screw up your truck.

I usually put this in the for sale thread...but it looks like it works here too..

I used a jigsaw and lots of painters tape to protect my failing clear coat.

There is plenty of truth where that is coming from.
