When you say cleaning connectors to the ABS unit do you mean the cables going into the brake system / assembly or the cables to the ABS module (the computer)? Thanks

In USA models we don't have that extra wire (noted in post #17). So try cleaning it.

In USA models. The brake alarm comes on due to low pressure. This is the same alarm we get, when rapidly and continuously pumping brake pedal with IG key on.

ok so I had the ABS module rebuilt. They also changed the Gas cylinder (Toyota OEM). When getting it back the ABS + hand brake light still come on after 10-15 min or drawing. At the same time the lights come on the fax machine sounds starts and after a few minutes it turns into the beeping alarm.
So the unit was sent back and the company sent a ABS module on loan (supposedly revised / checked). With the loaned module the ABS + handbrake lights still come on after 10-15 min but now the beeping alarm starts immediately, there is no fax machine sound first.
So with a different ABS module the problems remains with the only difference being that the fax machine sound is no longer there.
The brakes seems to work fine, there is no difference is brake pedal or braking performance.
It is off course possible that the unit they sent me on loan as a similar problem. But apart from that is there anything outside the ABS module that could cause these warning / alarms? I appreciate any ideas I can ask the garage to investigate.
