Title explains itself, have an auto 80 series 4.2 and is dropping gears and reverse is weak tried cleaning the solenoids and oil filter but still the same, going to have a crack at changing the solenoids but the ones I have sources locally are $750 for a full set so my question is does anyone know where to source the cheaper Isuzu solenoids to fit a442f gearbox online cheers

I ordered some from Amayama.com recently. Part numbers below. They have a system where you only pay for the shipping from their NZ warehouse to your place. The website looks a bit sketchy but they're 100% legit.

thanks mate. is this domestic? says on the site domestic shipping but it'll arrive next month
They source the parts in Japan, and then they get sent to their warehouse in NZ, and get shipped on. You only pay for the NZ portion of the freight.

O bought mine of Amazon for under 200 for all 4 I believe trans maxx. Was the brand and they were genuine Isuzu. Rock auto might have them if you enter the part numbers.
