So I have a 4:11 3rd with a detroit in it. I'm hoping to install it in my 60 this weekend or next. Problem is I've never installed one and not realy sure how it works. Do I just drop the new 3rd in and put the axle clips back on the ends?? Help a guy out thanks!!

Glad you are all set to instal. I had one in my 45 pickup, worked great! Almost didn't need 4wd after that. It was a little noisey, but nothing too bad.
