I'm installing a rear view camera in my 62. The camera mounts in a license plate frame that has it's own lights. I'm having trouble truing to figure out where to tap into 12V for the taillights so that the license plate lights turn on when my tail lights are on. I've been looking at this diagram, but struggling to find the right wire.

It shows the stock license plate lights having a white/black wire going to them, but all I see in mine is green wires.

Could use some guidance.

I might not be following your question, but the green wire going to the license plate lights is your 12v power wire, and would be switched by the running lights switch. The white/black would go direct to ground.

Ok. Wiring is definitely NOT my forte.

Just want to make sure I'm on the same page for this. Green = Power

Is that correct?

Green wire worked !! Thanks @toy_tek !!

Now I just need to tap into reverse and see if the camera works !!
