Safety first (brakes and steering), then carb rebuild if it needs it (send it to Jim C.), then lift and tires and fun.

3. Downey makes a crappy one.
4. There's a couple of places that make a nice header. SOR, MAF, Downey. The usual suspects.
5.Power steering is pretty damn huge.

Cage is big too. It won't take a lot to flip that sucker on the street and you'll be mashed with the stock bar.

79-83 had good front brakes. Adjust the rears properly and you're done.

I don't think a SOA can be done right for $2000 if you're paying someone to do it. Certainly not with tires that would fit. then you'd definately need power steering and good brakes.
