Aren't condensers kinda a wear item like tires and oil filters? The placement of the condenser makes it susceptible to rock puncture and such. Even windshields are regularly replaced on most cars that see lots of use. It seems there are several options available and more on the way, which is always a good thing. Parts availability is important to continue enjoying our trucks.

I'll leave this here. It's not for sale it's for a build.

That price seems insane. Any other options or what are people using? This seems to be a major thing with all the old cruisers out there eventually needing this.
You came here asking for help, and folks took the time to offer real, viable solutions. Then you turn around and criticize the cost of those solutions—that honestly comes off as entitled.

If you’re working within a budget, just say that upfront. But expecting parts for 30–40 year-old vehicles to be cheap, especially when they’re increasingly rare? Naive.

If you’re not willing to come up with a DIY solution that adapts available parts and requires you to do some research on your own, but you want plug-and-play convenience, then yes—there’s going to be a premium for that. That’s just how supply and demand works.

YMMV, I just got a response for parts over the weekend.

+1, the first attempt was a fail, the second attempt has been smooth, wiring the money to them.
I’ve always had a good experience with him.

Ordered one did you? Let me know how it goes and total please. Might be the only avenue. Is there a website to go through?
Yup, you don't have to do OEM. I have the Cooler Classics aftermarket part at half the cost; it works well enough, so unless you're a purist with disposable income, you can make it work using other means. I'm also convinced that you can use other parallel flows with some custom fittings to make it work. It seems possible, though beyond my expertise. I, however, have decided that my rig gets OEM-only parts because I'm trying to get it to a near-restored state, so this makes sense, though there is some risk.

OK, so Binmahmoodstores:

1. They're in Yemen, you have to accept the risk that your money may be lost. Not legal advice, but it seems these purchases will not paint a target on your backs in terms of buying from a country that's considered an enemy state. At least based on my quick research.
2. The ordering process is either through Instagram or WhatsApp, with no website.
3. They're responsive. They asked for my info, printed it all, and then took a picture of the item with that info, so it shows they're at least willing to go that far.

4. Total cost $790, go on eBay, someone is selling a POS that's half bent for $800.
5. Again, there is a risk of never seeing your item if it gets damaged, lost, or money walks, tho the last one seems kinda not likely on the count of their reputation through spoken words.
6. I've seen posts here of others buying from them, and the mechanic shop I worked with also endorsed them, good enough for me to proceed.
7. Shipping: Yemen, Sana'a to Oman, Salalah by land, it takes 6 days. When the shipment arrives in Oman, Salalah, it is shipped via DHL, and we need another 6 days for it to be in your hands.
8. Only forms of payment: Western Union or MoneyGram, again, because of the Geopolitical scene.

I've wired the money, once they collect, they'll ship, and I may or may not post an update in a week or two, Inshallah.

Interesting! After being hacked it has someone like me nervous, Still dealing with the crap. I know of there they seem to keep those rigs on the road even from hell and back. Whats the cooler classic aftermarket part? The lines?
