Hello, I just purchased a 2021 Land Cruiser (last of the V8’s?) and can’t wait to get it. (No, not the Heritage Edition). But I’m seeing lots of issues on these forums, hope all goes well! It’s supposed to be like a tank. I should get it in a few months, not built yet. I never owned a LC and now I start my journey right here, reading up on this beast.

Wow! Congratulations! Send pics when it arrives!

Trust me, the good vastly outweighs the bad. Of course people will post asking for help or advice when something fails, as this is a tech oriented forum. But dozens of people don’t often post “just hit 75k with no problems” because everyone feels the same way.
Post when you get it!

Congratulations!

Issues? There are only a handful of issues that seem to come up regularly. All of which won't start to poke there heads until until 70K+. Keep in mind, this is where people come when they have questions and concerns.

Toyota sells like 3 to 4 thousand LC in US a year. They sell about double that of Lexus model. Of few things that few people on this forum complain about I sure you will be ok. Congrats on your purchase and many long years of service.

Yeah, you’re screwed for buying an unreliable POS. And it’s the last year too...Toyota is winding down production and have unqualified monkeys assembling 2021s.

But, just to make you feel a little better...here’s a tidbit: Longest-Lasting Cars to Reach 200,000 Miles and Beyond - iSeeCars.com

And the LC200 is the strongest vehicle Toyota has ever produced, bar none:

“The 200 series is the strongest Land Cruiser ever produced by Toyota, a statement I heard straight from the mouth of the product engineer in Nagoya, Japan.”

BTW, that product engineer is the lead engineer for Land Cruiser development...Mr. Sadayoshi Koyari.

Well I hope they have a very strict quality manager overseeing these monkeys for the price I paid. We’ll see.

I was kidding. LC production plant is rank #1 i think in quality control. I would not worry.

Getting excited now, Toyota salesman said possibly end of October for my '21 delivery. (Only downside is no Apple car play).

You can add it. Aftermarket. Navi plus. I did.

I just got one and can you let me know if your LED Eyebrow goes on during the day?

Agree with most above. The good is leaps and bounds above the bad. The forum does have people posting issues, but look at the age and mileage of the folks asking. Spend time and look at the postings on how to maintain and keep the LC for a LONG TIME. You'll love it and it'll outlast anything else out there.
