See my above post .... Two weeks for 2.5" kit. Longer for the 4". No pricing yet, that I can find.

and I am still wanting pricing on the 2.5..... ballpark?!!!

Tom's email:

"Our 2-1/2 inch basic kit will be ready by the end of next week. It will include springs, poly bushings, shocks and u-bolts. Our 4 inch kit is still some time off. There are parts that we will need for that kit that will have to be made out-of-house, and we haven't received our quotes yet.

Thanks,
Tom"

What else would need to be sourced that wouldnt allow a ballpark price? If the price is significantlly cheaper than OME Im going to be a customer, Id rather buy american and support a small business owner than pay for over priced OME stuff. Looking forward to another alternative.

I am still getting the info from Tom, but I think it will be less expensive than OME. I am trying to determine everything that will come in the kit.

Unless you need a suspension kit ASAP. I would say hold on a few weeks to a month.

Ive said it before, this kit needs to be significantly cheaper than OME, a couple hundred bucks isnt going to persuede me from going with what already works.

to, Da Top!! any new info?! prices?

I e-mailed Hell Creek a couple of days ago, no response.
I might have to go with Man-a-Fre.

I reallly hope this is all worth it, that his prices are in line with the fj40 kit... e.g. 5-6hunny for the 2.5 inch kit...

incedently why is it that you can find an fj40 kit for 500 all day long but the best price ive ever seen is a BDS for 750 (close out discount)...?

My guess is, it's the added leaves in the 60 spring packs.

GLTH, you are right, I can find no real apreciable difference in the materials, assembly or construction that mandates 500+ in cash, my only thought is that they are discounting based on volume. that is , if I know that I would only sell 12 kits, the initial setup and R&D costs are passed on to the customer, but on the other side if I know I can sell 1200 then the initial production costs can be spread across the order magnatude... I dont know much about the spring business, but I cant imagine that if you own your own equipment , that the setup, R&D and material costs add up to quite that much.. no matter which way you roll it, but I digress......
:bang:

I am wondering where or what prices are being compared here.....

The OME springs for the 40's and 60's are close in price. About $200 = or -.
Based on kit prices listed by MAF and Kurt.

Are you comparing other brand 40's vs OME 60's? If so it sort of gets int apples and oranges.

Just looking for a little clarification
