If your under the age of 50, not obese, non-smoker, eat well, exercise regularly, maintain good sleep habits, don't use the Lords name in vain, non drug user and take your vitamins...... you most likely will.........:D

Haha i got 1.5 of those things. I guess its good i already have mine.

Nothing yet? I need a 2.5 lift for Michelle's Daily Driver. FJ62. :o

Too bad you didn't step up sooner......you could have got a set for free, as we were looking for a "guinea pig" just couple months back... We gave Casey's brother a set to try but he was too lazy to install them.... so ended up some guy out of Houston has them but now can't get any feedback from him.......

Actually, I am the 2.5 Hellcreek Guinea Pig . . .

Tom sent them the first of December and I installed them December15 during an Upstate Cruisers' HAMOM. I have been providing feedback to Tom, sending pictures, measurements, and old parts. Tom asked that I keep quiet until he was ready to launch, which I have.

All I can say is that I've put about 1000 miles on them since December, taken them offroad twice, driven through snow, etc., and they are absolutely great!

Tom stands behind his work and wants to get it right.

Patience grasshopper . . . .

So, now I've let you in on the skunk works secrets. It's been hard for me not to post up, so lets keep this between ourselves and give Tom the time he needs. Nothing like Made in America!

So, to whet your appetite, here is a picture of my 89 FJ62 at the end of Moses Creek out in Cullowhee recently.

Looks like its setting to high in the front...or too low in the rear??..... that was the results on the last set I installed..... got any pics of the rear shackles?

Hey Turkeypen, what size are the tires of the truck in the picture?
I think it looks leveled, might be the angle of the picture.

*31 inch tires (for now).

*Perfectly level (I was standing below). Measuring from the crease line that runs from front to back (you know, from the "vent" to the "land cruiser" in the rear) the front is 43" from ground and the rear is 43.5".

*Rear shackles nearly perpendicular to frame rails. See pic.

Tom is a stickler for detail. Hellcreek has all my pre-lift, post lift, and "settled" measurements. I'm sure whatever adjustments are needed will be made on the production models. I am completely happy and plan on putting it to a real test when Upstate Cruisers does its winter run Feb. 22.

So, I will now return to stealth mode. Will post up all my data when Tom says "OK." Just saw that the thread needed some factual imput before it went South. So, don't take my lack of further response as a lack of concern for my Mud brothers.

Yeah - I remember that whole story...That would of been great! :D

Called Tom today, I got put on the list for the 2 1/2 60 spring kit. No final price yet though. He's thinkin 3 weeks before production starts.I think that if you want to get your springs from Hell Creek that you should put your order in with them. You wouldn't want to be left out in the cold.

Any ideas on price?

Zack

Put me down for a set . . .

I just checked out this thread for the first time. I’m glad I did before I purchased OME springs for my 60. I’m assuming that this was probably covered earlier in this thread, but how do you contact Tom in order to get on the list for the 2.5 inch FJ60 spring kit? :hhmm:

Got my rig back. Here are some close ups that I took this morning. The rear springs will be changed out. Tom didn't like the way these looked. Excuse the mud from a Sicily Island, LA run and the Southern Cruiser Crawl (LOL) caked on in some spots. The rear springs are in my garage, ready to install. I just need some help and my help is pretty busy and I missed last weekend's wrenching session b/c I was at a fishing tournament.

Anyway, I appreciate all of your patience so far. I've been pretty tied up with some things but they're settling and I want to get this done because I believe in the product and Tom was gracious enough to let me test this out.

Let me say again that as is, this is one seriously tough and great product. I know I need to hurry along though so y'all can buy up the sets once Tom gets rolling full speed.

I love it.
When can we get some?

Looks like your rear heater hoses are original :hhmm: better change those out before they blow on ya :frown: ...that would ruin a outing event

I sent an email to Tom at HCS asking about availability, and he said the basic 2.5 lift kit would be available by end of next week. 4" lift is a ways off due to having to have some parts made out-of-house.

I'm anxious...

Do we have any pricing yet??:bounce2::clap:

I was thinking of going with OME Dakar's in April.
Do we think these will come through before then?
