Lots of progress this weekend, biggest thing was getting the main chassis harness back in. Finished adding in provisions for cruise control and other accessories, wrapped it all up, and got it pulled back into the truck. I then could (almost) finish terminating everything to link back into the engine harness, ran out of male terminals so waiting on some more. So far pretty happy with it, just need to adjust a few things on the drivers side of the harness.

Also was able to get the HVAC under the dash reinstalled, I had rebuilt it all a while back so it went in nice and smooth.

Finally when I was cleaning before installing that stuff I noticed some of the factory sound deadening in the drivers foot well was loose so I decided to pull it out. Was able to get it all off the drivers and passengers footwells, not dry ice needed, came up really easy. Only some minimal surface corrosion in a few areas, will use some rust convertor on it and top coat it.

Finished removing the rest of the factory sound deadening, still have to remove the rest of the aftermarket stuff which isnt fun to remove. The newer stuff was put in poorly and definitely was holding moisture in some areas in all I only found two areas that I didnt know about that need fixing. Nothing crazy but needs to be addressed.

That second one is right in front of the drivers side rear wheel well.

Finally just a shot of the engine bay cause it looks great.

Started digging into the rust on the body of the truck, some real fine craftsmanship from one of the POs body guy.... But slowly stripping it back to find good metal so it can be built back. Need to get my hands on some replacement panels, curious where most people go to for the fender/dogleg area, I know of Wolf and Cruiser Corps. Will need to find some bit of rocker too.

Can see that beautiful frame though!

Also cleaned up the fender liners and fixed a few spots on them so they can be painted when I do the engine bay before the engine goes in.

Also cleaning up some seams on the firewall and cowl so that they can be epoxy primered and sealed before final paint.
