2000 LC. BFG 295/75/16 E load rated BFG AT's, so I need whatever lift I can get. OEM shocks that feel fine. Per the PO, it has "2860 OME heavy duty for towing". Likely, but they sagged way down when I lowered my trailer onto the ball. Like way down....

I have IronMan front torsion bars (winch/bumper, ARB OBA going in, 2nd battery...) so the heavy rears will balance out. I am eventually going to run a rear bumper/spare/water cans so there will always be extra weight. And I don't care if its a plush ride.

The search function has not been my friend here, but my thought after much reading here is a set of OME 2864.

So 2 questions - is there anything heavier with at least as much lift as I have now? And do I need new/upgraded shocks? I am also going to bag them, so I can keep a little rake with the trailer attached.

@crikeymike can get you hooked up with a Dobinsons set that will be rated to support your payload. Make sense of your expected bumper / typical driving weight and buy coils that can handle the weight.

Shocks don't matter as much in regards to your payload capacity compared to coils / torsion bars.... I have just a hair over the stock front end height and I have Toyota shocks and my rear is Dobinsons coils + shocks because it sits a bit higher and I have a good amount of payload weight back there.

Around 450 lbs at worst. Its a 20ft tandem trailer with a tractor on it and with the pallet forks on the front it gets heavy.
The tractor, trailer, and forks only weigh 4500lbs? That’s about what my boat weighs - tongue weight is 450 and it levels me out when I pull it.

I would agree with doing air bags so you can have them inflated more to carry the heavy load but then reduce when you are not so the ride comfort is not negatively impacted.
