Hey there, curious if anyone can help point me in the right direction.
  • During a heavy rain last week, my left turn signal when out and my brake light fuse blew.
  • The left turn signal came back on the next day, but I obviously had to replace the brake light fuse to get those back on.
  • My windshield has been resealed, so water is not coming in there.
But curious if anyone knows in the general location(s) I should be looking where these two circuits cross? Really appreciate it!! Cheers

Water is coming through the windshield, although you might not be able to see it. Take the A-pillar trim off and test with a garden hose.
Mine drips ever so slightly, few tiny drips sometimes make the dash flicker

Or it could be clogged sunroof drains. Take a look at the fuse panel in the driver footwell for any signs of moisture. It's probably dried out now that we've had a week or so of sunny dry weather, but you might see staining from previous wetness or corrosion on some of the contacts.

Not worried about the water ingress and know that's the culprit here (the sunroof drains are clear, and the windshield a-pillar channels have been fully caulked and new trim. My question is more about trying to isolate the electrical short location, so if you have thoughts on where to look, that would be awesome!

Have you had your windshield replaced or PO? Thankfully I live in SoCal where it hardly rains but when I am stuck in traffic and there's a decent shower, my passenger side A pillar gets damp as does the passenger footwell. I'm starting to suspect it's the molding on that side of the windshield is the culprit as I checked my sunroof drain and it's evacuating the water out properly.
