The 1/2 BSP heater hose connector that goes to the rear head is looking pretty rusted on a 2F I’m assembling. I’ve read a 1/2 NPT to 5/8 in brass connector is a good substitute. These appear to not be as easy to find as I thought. Anyone got a good source?

I didn’t think to check Master Carr. They might have it, but doing a search there, I cannot find it.

I’ll shoot Cruiser Corps an email. Not sure why they don’t list the 2F engine as an option for that. It’ll have to be BST if it’s steel. Can only do NPT in a softer metal like brass (I think).

Edit: I can only find steel NPT on the Master Carr site. McMaster-Carr

The one installed in my 2F head was BSPT that I ordered from the UK. The invoice has Parker all over it. Id imagine that a Parker Store can set you up. Parker also carries the fittings for the gas tank as well for a fraction of the price as the cruiser centric sources.
