I'm in for a pair.
I'm in for 4 (both fronts and both middle). But when I called they suggested I measure the middle row again as the extra 2" (noted by Glen) may not work there. If not, I would need to order the Innovative II kits for the middle seats.
Uncle Ben, do you recall what kit you used for your middle seats? Also, how did you handle the folding hinge when running the wires (pics would be great)? Also, where did you pull power and how do you plan to make the connections to MOT's switches?
BTW, my switches from MOT just arrived today (I ordered b/4 this thread started as I was already on the project - so timing was perfect!). The packaging was fantastic - nice job MOT!

Ok heres what showed up. 2 same size panels each with a thermal fuse-overload @ 70C. One panel looks like it has a temp sensor for the high low temp regulation.
One fuse, a switch, small inline j-box (i assume for control) and a 14 page install book. Thats it pretty simple.
One hand is in a cast with a nice pin in it at the moment, so somebody else will have to do the first install.

Thanks for the pics, where are you located in WA -- I do not know where smellville is (slang!?)?
You brought up a point I made earlier on how the kits would need to mount in the second row seating. I looked at mine and when installed you would have leave enough slack in the wire for when the seat articulates and folds -- I was also looking at putting a type of relief/limiter on the wire so that it was not able to be pulled past a certain point. I did not get far enough for the actual routing of the wire , I figured I would finalize that if/when I installed the kits.
I really wanted to be the test subject for this project but some a$$hole hacked my ebay and paypal accounts and went on a shopping spree. My account is currently suspended until I can resolve this issue and I am not purchasing anything not deemed essential for living until I can recoup the monies (nearly $800) or next payday whichever is sooner.
Note: Paypal was great for the first couple and then they have beeen nothing but a problem to work with since -- they have refused to warrant my claims and I am in an extended dispute process to get my money back. ALSO -- one thing I never really thought of when I verified my paypal account was the overdraft protection on my checking account. Whomever this was took directly from the checking and therefore would have only been limited once they wiped out both my checking and savings accounts.
I will say one thing, the a$$hole used half a brain and didn't start to purchase until 2 minutes after paypal customer service/dispute resolution center closed for the night.
Sorry for the rant but had to talk about it -- It was just frustrating to do all this work and then be denied becuase someone else.

That sounds like a good GTG. Once I resolve everything and get mine in or if a sooner date works, I can just show for moral and somewhat technialc support.

Man, I grew up in the Yakima Valley on a farm in Sunnyside, WA. I really miss those days of my youth hunting and fishing on Rainer, and St. Helens (heck, I even enjoyed the ash from the eruption) and even a few trips to Mt. Hood.

I forgot the brand but it looks very smiler to the basic one you guys had as an option. Wiring for the mids was just like the front and you just run the seat back pigtail down along the hinge and hook it underneath the seat bottom to the harness. You then run the harness to the front hinge (of the seat bottom) then under the carpet and pad to the console. I used the two top change holder knock outs for the front seats and the rear seats have the switches on the back of the console. When ever you run a lot of added accessories it is wise to install a separate power distribution center under the hood such as this one. If this is your only extra circuit then install a simple relay and circuit breaker so when your key is on you get full battery currant to your seat heaters. Allow at least 10 amps per seat heater when you access your wiring needs!
The key to longevity and overall success is do a clean install and don't cut corners!
