Chris,

If you order a kit it will ship from the warehouse in Canada.

Rick,

Thanks for the heads up, I have never sold anything using paypal so I was not even thinking of a surcharge. This may affect things but let me look into it more before I committ to changing anything.

Boz,

These kits are universal so if you measure your seat and the dimensions match the suggested size you will be good. If you look on the site there are several sizes to choose from and they one of the kits should be usabel for whatever application you have. As for the disount for other sets, I have made inquiries but unless we have a firm number for the various kits desired I cannot enter into bargaining because I am guessing at numbers that we could gaurantee.

For this reason I have concentrated on the Innovative II kits to keep things simple and cause less confusion. If you want/need another kit we can deal with that on a case by case basis.

Kevin,

Did you want some kits? I haven't seen an e-mail from you yet?

Jacques,

You were asking about installing into the second row, I have checked and the kits should fit (I would definitely measure to verify) but I was looking at mine and if installed in the second row you will need to take the flip feature into consideration when running the wiring.

Rick (Landtank) brought up a good point, I had never factored in the surcharge for paypal so I will check with the company and see if there is a work around/consolation for this. I quickly checked out Paypal and if funds are transfered via a verified account using either paypal balance, instant transfer or e-check there is no fee but if paid with CC, debit or buyer credit then there is a 4.9% + .30 charge. Additionally, there is a charge for any funds paid from outside the U.S.

Guys, I will stick with this endeavor but it sure has been an eye opener. I never thought the logistic side of things would be so chaotic. I am however learning as we go and with each correspondance I have more knowledge and therefore a better understanding of what to ask and how to ask it.

I know it has been taking up more time than I has initally thought when the :princess: is asking to whom and what am I typing at all hours. :D

I prefer cloth seats anyway. Wifey's Sienna has leather and she loves the heated seats, has them on when the temp drops below 72'F. I can stand them on for about a minute, then my back gets sweaty. Maybe I'd buy one for the passenger side for the '80 (?).

I'm in for 2 sets!

Rick,

Thanks for the heads up, I will use this for any future paypal endeavors. I cannot allow you to go for the hat trick.

I took some time out of my work day (lets just call it time I never get when everyone else is on their "smoke breaks"). I called the company and told them our numbers and then worked a deal to make this easier for all of us.

They agreed to take orders directly from the members!!!

Here is the information for ordering:

Using paypal --- send funds to sales@autowarm.com title reference is Glen Group Buy. Put down in the remarks it is for Part #29708, Innovative Heat III kits

OR

Phone Orders --- 1-800-975-1764; tell them it is for Glen Group Buy and give the part # 29708, Innovative Heat III kits

The cost per kit ($60) will be honored for all orders, this will include the free shipping. They did say if you really have to have your kit ASAP you could add $10 to the order for express shipping and get it like yesterday.

If you have any problems, please e-mail me and I will do my best to clear up any issue that arise.

Thanks Glen! And my wife thanks you too - even though she doesn't know it yet....

Kevin,

Did you want some kits? I haven't seen an e-mail from you yet?

Glen

Sorry Glen but I'm set on seat heaters. I installed both fronts and two in the mid seats when I installed AAtlas' very high grade seat cover replacements. I just want the OEM switches. The price you are offering is fantastic and if I was in need I would be buying for sure!

Kevin,

No problem there, I just saw your posting to MOT and figured that somehow your e-mail or PM fell by the wayside and I didn't want someone thinking they placed an order that was not accounted for.

I have been looking at the leather kits from Shane also but mine are not quite bad enough to warrant getting moved up the list. Once I get a couple of other things done I will be looking into doing them, I might even hold off on the install because I will probably look into replacing the cushions at the same time.

I tried to stay off your thread but wanted to make sure Mot seen my PM. The Katzkin leather is way beyond just replacement leather it is a very comfy upgrade! The seat heaters you're doing the group buy for look to be the same as the ones I paid double your price for! You guys will not be sorry!!!!!! Just think of the next snow run when you have your window open navigating a tricky trail while your back and butt are toasty warm! 'Nuff said...

Guys,

I have had people asking about the part number listed. The company will be issuing the Innovative Heat III kits for our group buy --- they upgrade to this but I did not know until I called and questioned the part number issue. All orders to date have been annotated as the Innovative III so you do not have to call in to adjust.

These kits usaully sell for alot more and the only difference I see is that the elements are 2" longer. I asked and they said it would not effect the install. If someone really wants the Innovative Heat II, I assume you could specifically request it.

Glen
