I have no idea on Slee's but I am sure they are good ones.

But the carbon ones listed below are what i can get and are the best I am told.

I am a fan of HOT as I used my on the drive to work this morning.

Also they come compete with harness and directions.

Here is the specs from the website. http://www.heatedseatkits.com/ that Brindle Boxer has listed, the carbon ones I recomend.

I'd be in for two and possibly Mot's switches.

Does anyone know if the are other toyota or lexus models that have switches that would work and look OEM (for example the light switches many of us have used froma camry)?

Guys,

Here is the latest reply to my questions and what I believe to be the final price for the Innovative II kits.

Canadain members orders will be shipped from Vancouver, B.C. -- this will avoid any customs/brokerage fees. So you could plan accordingly about shipping times. They still have not clarified if there will be a shipping charge though.

The massager kits are temporarily out of stock/back orderd so if you want them you will have to wait. No date on getting these in was indicated also they said that I would have to get a final number to determine what price break they could do.

All orders must have atleast two kits to qualify for the discount, sorry guys I tried to get this waived but it is one thing they would not budge on. Maybe if two member only wanted one kit and they were local they could just combine their orders or f someone does not have a local member they could post up for a buying partner. If all else fails I can add someone to my order.

We also have to order 30 kits minimum to get the overall discount ($65 per kit). Here is where it gets vague. In one correspondence they say that they can ship to varying address and take different orders then in another they reference a group buy. I will work this for more clarification.

I know a few people are wanting to get this show on the road so I will do my best to get things resolved before the end of next week and then we can get a firm number for the kits and start ordering them.

did a pic, part number, and approx price for OEM switches ever get posted to this thread?

I am wondering if my doc would write a prescription to get heated seats to soak up a little spend-or-loose insurance money before year end ?!?!?! (I have had my back stiffen up from time to time in the past )

I've posted the cost of the OEM switch(es), but have not posted pics because I just picked them up today and I just got home from work.:flipoff2:

It has the "high/low/off" positions and looks/feels like, well... OEM.:hillbilly:

Mot - Do those switches stay in the high/low positions or do they spring back to center once the setting has been selected? I ask because I'd like to leave the heat on the seat "on" so in the morning when I start the truck with the remote start, the seat starts heating up right away :D

Do those OEM switches come with pigtails?

For what it's worth (and for those of us seeking a less expensive option), those switches are REALLY similar to the switches used in my wife's 98 Mitsubishi Montero. I don't know the year/model distribution, but I'm sure they're fairly common among period Mitsubishis. The "hi" side lights up orange, the "lo" side glows green, and they do stay in place.

Any update on the group buy??

so do we get a code or just call and tell them we are mudders to get the discount?

are we still trying to get approval? My wife wants these things pretty bad now that i got her talked into it!

Update

To All,

The buy is still on but we (as a group) need to figure how we are going to order the kits. To get the discount price ($60)they require the 30 kit minimum. To date, they have not responded on how they would track the quantity if we order per individual. I have sent a follow-up e-mail this afternoon and will psot any updates.

I see two options: Either do one mass group buy and as long as each order has atleast two kits we will still get a good price ($65) but not the best. As stated before if people only want one kit maybe they can get topgether with others in their area and order together. As stated previously, I will add somebody to my order if they do not have a buddy to order with and we can figure how they will split ship the order.

So please let me know what you would prefer and we will go with the majority. I understand that certain parts of the country (and our friends to the North) is getting colder and people want to get this moving so lets get those inputs in.
