Those lights will look great on your truck but if you're looking for better light output buy Depos and retrofit them with a HID projector. I think you'll find the Halo is the only thing that's LED on those lights but maybe they have changed. I've yet to see a single output shot from anyone who has installed them which makes me think they are not that great

I have the spec d lights. I installed them because my stock light adjustment pivot was broken and I could not get it repaired, although I may try again. I do not like the light pattern at all. I will eventually retrofit them. Sorry no pics yet, but will post one a bit later today.

Gotta ask what your goal and budget are. If you're wanting more light, for the price it's hard to beat a simple HIR bulb upgrade.

I don’t think those anzo lights are really going to be what you want in terms of upgrade, unless you just like the look of the housing. Putting projectors in Depos is super easy. I’ve never messed with headlights before I did mine and if I had all the parts when I started it would’ve take me 2 days to get the housings modified and projectors installed and back on the truck. Pm me if you have any questions about it but you are probably looking at $650 in parts and some time but in the end it’s going to be the best upgrade for the headlights possible. Just dont put those no cutoff LED bulbs in. You may be able to see fine, but that nonexistent cutoff is going to be blinding everyone else.

I want better light that is safe for the highway and won't blind others. It sounds like I need to do some planning and do a projector swap into some depos. I wish there was a vendor that did the swaps and sold them....

If you can use a dremel and jb weld you are 90% of the way there. There are a lot of good resources out there. I think the biggest problem with making the retrofitted Depos to sell is having the truck around to level and aim the lights. I'd retrofit some for you but I wouldn't want to take the risk of my truck being off from yours and the beam not being level

I would just put in (4) 9011 HIR bulbs. Replace both the 9005 and 9006 bulbs with the 9011 bulbs. I live rural off a dirt road (think dark and deer) and I find the HIR lights are plenty bright. I know they are not as sexy as LEDs or projectors, but I think the last set of four that I bought were less than $50. As always, JMHO.

There are more headlight options now for these but I think the top option would be moded depos with projectors, then you also can get the international option of quad lights (square) and there are lots of aftermarket options for those, all the way up to going to a all the aftermarket options of 7" round headlights.

as Cuuzerman stated, sometimes keeping it simple will get you what you want.
