I just stripped my truck of its bezel today. Though blasphemy to many it looks so much better without it. I'd love to find an early 25 bib to replace the one on my truck- but I doubt that will happen. But I have an early bezel bib with the small lights waiting for me to ship it over to Japan. I'll probably use it without the bezel and I'm wondering how the headlight trim rings are attached on the 25's. I'd love to find some and fit them but if I can not I may try some mitsubishi jeep units.

Do a search in the 25 section from a thread by Landcruiserjunky he modified a early FJ40 bib bib to look like a FJ25. Can't remember what he used for the chrome strips but he was using chrome rings from a jeep for the head lights. Thread showed how he attached them.

I'll do a search myself. If I find it I will post a link.

Here is one https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj25-owner...urce-replacement-fj25-chrome-light-rings.html

if my memory serves me correctly, I think Gene used a chromed curtain rod that he ripped in half and slightly bent;)

fogblanket just did this to his fj45LV. headlight rings were off a jeep and he used round rod to do the cross bars.

attachment.php

next he's going to swap in a centered rear diff and a single speed transfer case...
