One problem I have with it. There's a pin hole in one of the flex pipes. Making it sound like a have a weedwacker under my car under acceleration. It's bad enough that I can hear it with all my windows up, and with the rumber of the new muffler.

I'm going to call them Monday to see what they can do for me.

The CX header does NOT fit with supercharger applications. I have one on my 80 and had to do major mods to the front two cylinders to make it fit. I basically cut them out and reformed the pieces to clear the supercharger. Also, the tube doesn't match the flange all that well as the flange is oval and the tube is round. There is a ton of meat there so some time on a die grinder is well spent. Even with my mods, I really like my header so far.

Trying to decide on cx header or magnaflow direct fits. Was wondering what they did for that pinhole? It will help me decide. As much as I would love to have headers I really don't want to put out extra to fix them. Need the money to complete exhaust

Since I had the headers for two months before I put them on( waiting on the borla exhaust) they wouldn't replace it. Only a 30 day warranty but the did help me out and sent a new flex pipe for free. I've driven about 3,000 miles with it and I'm very happy.

Thanks! That says a lot about a company. Looks like I'll put my order in tomorrow. One day I should update profile with my 96 lexus lol. Had to sell my very well built 94 cruiser. Nothing like starting over $$$

Did you end up doing anything about the egr port being blocked? How does it sound?? I've got the cx header with the longer straight down pipe option sitting in a storage closet while I wait to get my block and head back from my machinist as I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine. It's nice to look at but I can't wait to hear it! Thinking of grabbing a magnaflow muffler and buying all the bends and tube(3 inch all the way back) from cx. Their bulk exhaust parts don't look bad for putting your own together.

Maybe I missed this somewhere, but won't you have an egr code? I have an egr code currently along with a minor exhaust leak at the y split on my header(which may be why), and am considering getting the CX racing also. Just want to know if anyone has ideas on not getting an "insufficient flow code" after it's blocked? Also, would like to know if the header along with freeing up the sufficating dual catylists helped an mpg or 2?

How did the headers do after your rebuild?
