Just needed to share...
Had my Doug Thorley short headers installed today...Finally...they have been sitting in the garage for almost 4 years and were supposed to be on my '08 LC.
The shop that did it said it was a pain for anyone with big hands...really tight to get in.
There is no difference in the sound, maybe just a touch louder, but not really noticeable. This is probably because the cats, muffler and resonator are all stock for now. Where there is a difference is in power. It all of a sudden feels like there is no hesitation, maybe because the ease up in back pressure, and the truck just wants to go. Interestingly, it didn't automatically down shift going into a turn. Can't be sure what gains are torque and hp wise, but there has to be something.
