My 91 has a slight head gasket leak.

What are other projects or upgrade could/should be done since a lot will be removed ?

Thanks

Water pump. Thermostat. Belts. Radiator maybe. Injectors. New hoses unless done already.

How do you know it has a slight HG leak?

Tracing the leak that is what it seems to be coming from.... but my brother thought it looked like a leak I thought it just looked like grim on the engine I’ll attach a picture in a few
Please post pics.

The 91and 92 are not known for HG failure and they rarely fail to the exterior of the head, but it does happen.

It’s not the greatest picture. hard to see what I’m talking about

That’s what I was reading lots of people make it 400k+ without any issues.

I did have my radiator go out last summer and had to get it towed because the rig was getting to hot. But I didn’t have a catastrophic failure just noticed it was getting hot.

Could be valve cover gasket weeping down past spark plugs? Are you loosing coolant? Clean it up good with a pressure washer or car wash. Throw a towel over the dizzy to protect it from water. If you replace ed valve cover gasket go ahead and do valve lash adjustment while your there.

Buy a new reservoir cap or just the gasket.
