Head gasket kit....

Hello all,
Looking for some advice and or suggestions about head gaskets. Manafre sells a "head gasket kit" for $55.00 that includes all the gaskets needed or you can buy all the gaskets needed indavidually for a lot more. What gives with the price difference? Who sells a good kit that will have all the gaskets needed? Anyone got any ideas? By the way this is for an 83 fj60.

I personally would go to one source for this: Toy OEM. Call C Dan at American Toyota.

x ∞ on cdan. Nothing against MAF but if you are going to get a replacement part like a gasket I would get OEM. I am in the middle of a HG repair and I have all of the gaskets needed and then some. I ended up replacing a lot of other stuff as well like the injector spacers(had to buy those separately) and o-rings. Anyway, I think its worth the extra $$. Im sure that others here will have more technical reasons. These are just my .02

I went with the MAF kit before I knew about C-Dan and it's worked out OK so far.

Whatever you decide to buy make sure you re-torque the head bolts.
