Oh ya, I took some measurements the other day when we put it back on wheels.

Pumpkin: 14”
Axle tube: 17.5”
Radius arm low point: 20”
Tie rod: 18”

😁

A few more pics.

That’s the body/cab skin pretty well done! We are going to prime it tomorrow to seal it up. The UTE has got to get pushed outside in a few days.

I'm glad to see you taking the time to make this look like you wanted to do the conversion, rather than just hack off the damaged body parts and put a flat sheet across the back and call it good. Excellent body fab skills!

Inner structure is next. Not going to get to crazy but also not going to just slap/weld in some box tube.

I want to build a “pocket” here to utilize the space.

Think a drawer or cubby that opens 45* or more like this.

79-series double cab pickup vents.

I plan to build the inner structure and interior portion so that I can trim it out with interior panels. Behind seats will be a dog nest, sub, amp, storage and a few other things.

Might as well spill the beans…

I bought this from @AlbertoSD

So that finishes off my power train! 🕺🤩

Can’t wait to see it all put together!

Well, we just got this 79-series rear slider installed today. The UTE gets the exact same one.

Winks turbo test fit.

I have some flexibility on how I can route the hoses that came on the Winks. I think I will probably just run them.

I decided to just mount it up for good.

I actually much prefer OEM plumbing and routing of the oil/coolant lines.

Just going to run it as is for now, I have heard I can get 30psi out of this turbo, we will see. It is a modified CT26 so I am not really expecting to be blown away by it, especially compared to the setups we normally run.

Intake plumbing will go through here more or less.

I am going to just run the Winks out of the gates like I say. If it at all disappoints me I am sure I will upgrade turbos in the future.

Cheers
