Ali, find out from CSC how they generate and maintain their content and webpage and what it costs them. We could have a fantastic website if we had the money to pay someone to keep it up or a resident expert willing to donate tons of time to it. But we have neither. I understand your concerns with leaving people behind that don't use Facebook. We pretty much left Larry Gorman behind once we dumped the archaic Yahoo Group and went to the MUD forum.
We register our CSC domains with GoDaddy.com, therefore we get free hosting for having multiple products. With that said, GoDaddy is hosting our web site. We use weebly as site builder. It is free to use if you don't mind the weebly link in the footer. There is a fee if you want to use your own domain name, have integrated shopping cart, post HD videos etc. We are on the Pro - $8 per month plan now. We have 2 members maintaining the web site, I am one of them. A lot of the contents are from members and info posted on the CSC forum. It does take a lot of time to search, organize, compile, and publish them on the web site. We are also on Facebook now. Hope this helps.
