While completely disassembling my apparently stock 71 FJ40, I noticed that the leaf springs didn't seem as caked and dirty as the frame itself. After a heavy duty pressure washing I noticed the leafs all had the "3-Diamond" logo, similar to Mitsubishi Motors, stenciled in on them. The rig sits with 4-1/2" of space between the top of the 31" rear tires and the outer lip of the original factory wheel opening. The axle housings are mounted above the springs so no Redneck mods have contributed to body height. It was also equipped with a set of Rancho Shocks that we blasted and repainted, that now need replacement. How is the ride height measured (between the ground and what point of reference on the vehicle)? I'd like to know if and how much this truck has lifted. Thanks

I actually have a new set of those springs that were sourced in South America. Mitsubishi from what I understand made some of the original spring packs for Toyota but never made "lift" springs for them. Please upload some pictures of your rig so we can see what you see.
