Has anyone successfully mounted a 70 series pick up body on a 80 series frame?

Searched and found a few threads about people thinking about putting a 70 series truck body on a 80 series frame, has anyone been successful in doing this? I did find a thread or two that showed a newish 70 series pick-up body mounted on a 60 series frame done at Proffitt's awhile back. Did they ever do this using an 80 series frame, using the original 1FZFE drivetrain??

Found it, thanks, that's a nice truck.

Can you share the link on this thread so anybody else who's interested doesn't have to go searching

Explains why they are some of the rarest 70 Series in the U.S.

Kernal.....I had a bit more than that in my truck but I went way over the top on the build. It could be done for a less. Labor was pretty crushing....that would be a tough pill to swallow if somebody had to pay a shop to build it. We had 100s and 100s of hours in it. Certainly is a great truck though....I've really been enjoying it.

I know everything has a price but I'm not sure I can put one on this thing. Well, I could but everyone would have a giant laugh. It would have a HUGE price tag.

The ONLY thing that I would replace this with would be a 4 door cab pickup and that's what I'm on the hunt for. Then I'll sell this cab/bed. That 4 door is my dream truck...
