Has anyone found a replacement front/rear washer diverter valve that last longer than the OEM part?

This hasn't been discussed for awhile so I'm bringing the topic back hoping someone has found a longer lasting windshield washer diverter valve as the OEM valve tends not to last all that long. For example, I replaced the valve in my FZJ80 with a new Toyota part 3-4 years ago but it has recently started the dribbling thing again on the hatch window.

So just wondering if anyone has found a newer/better solution, maybe a substitute from some other Toyota vehicle or from another source?

Replacement for Rear Wiper Diverter Valve

Why Diverter Valves Fail

Haha, forgot all about this one on my rig. Bypassed it a few months ago so it's front windshield only. Was going to order a replacement from Beno but never got around to it. Being that I am not a mall crawler, I am fine with not having a functional rear window washer function.

I seem to recall someone (many years ago) installed a diverter valve from another Toyota (?pick-up). I forget which model, can't find the post.

I bypassed my rear sprayer today and then came looking for info. Thanks for bringing this topic back to the top!

It appears that my rear nozzle is plugged, I can't put any compressed air through it so I might decide that bypassed is just fine after I use it a bit.

has anyone tried separate valves for front and rear? so front washer switch would operate the pump and front valve, rear washer switch would operate the pump and rear valve? not sure it would extend time between switching to new valves but just curious. these valves might be cheaper?

If you want to simplify the system just remove the diverter valve and plumb in a separate reservoir and pump for the rear washer. Use the wire that previous controlled the diverter to power the new pump.

Below is a thread by a Mud member who came up with a replacement valve for the rear whindsheild washer.
