That looks great Bruce. Its one of the best set up full bodied 40s I've seen. I think you should leave it that way. How much up travel do you have? Bumpstop measurement?
Gary

Thanks Gary - that means a lot coming from you!

Uptravel in the rear - the shock bottoms out before the tire hits the tub. Front - I'm not sure - trying to figure out if I'm going to have to add bump stops. Need to flex it a little and see.

It's over at Sunray right now - if you want to go check it out. The transmission is making a "clicking" noise when it's in drive. So after trying to determine what was up - Lance said to just bring it in an they'd figure it out. Once that's fixed I'm going to take it out and flex it and see what I have.

looks great, so its street legal

Depending on the guy who does the inspection ;)

Bead locks are not technically legal in Texas but other than that - yes - it is street legal. My 8 yr old son loves t0 have me drop him off at school in it. It's a pretty funny sight...

Do the rear tires rub on the inside or tops of the fenderwells?

How much backspacing on those wheels?

Wheels are a 5" backspace. Not sure on the rubbing. I do not think that they will, although I have not wheeled it yet. From my measurements, the shock should bottom out before the tire hits the wheel well.

Ok, after a slight setback - bad governor in the 700R4 - Rascal should be back on the road tomorrow. Starting to move forward again...

Good news Bruce.

I want to see this twisted up.

So have you broke it yet?

How is your new set up working?

They are still trying to figure out what is making the transmission noise. Glad I looked on Mud today - I almost forgot I had a Cruiser. :frown:
