Hey ya’ll, it’s my first time posting here as an desperate attempt to find a solution for this ongoing problem, so i apologise if i may have made any mistakes in communicating my issue.
LC200 2017, 6 Cylinder Petrol Engine
Modifications inside; Only An Android Screen.
So i was applying window tint at a place to my cars front windshield and the guy used a lot of soap water on the inside of the windshield and alot of the soap water may have seeped into the dash because ever since then (like literally after driving a few meters away)my handbrake light has been blinking and beeping while the car is moving, reverse or forward and it only stops when the speedometer rests at 0. Sometimes when it reaches 0 the hand brake light may remain on or may not, but there is no beep when stopped.
Yes, the handbrake is completely disengaged, the fluid is at level, a little above max and break pads are also in good condition, no fault codes for the ABS either.
Just been getting a code C1453 but the mechanics think it is unrelated.
Things that have been already tried;
1) computer check, abs has no codes or faults apart from C1453
2) opened the BCM located in the foot area, cleaned it and put it back, no luck. (Gonna try using another BCM today as the mechanics found water residue on it)
3) ABS wires and sensors look fine and have been cleaned and put back.
4) Center Console was opened to inspect the Handbrake wire but it seemed fine at the time but will again be inspected today.
5) When cruise control was set to 110km/h the beep and flashing light both go away, but a little over or below 110km/h it starts again and only stops when it hits 0
Please help me out guys because the light beep is driving me nuts especially since it is the only car i have for commuting
Thanks alot for taking time to read and all your suggestions and feedback.
