If I serve one more notch the drive shaft is stuck. I want to adjust the length of the brake zipper

That is the adjustment if you look and compare the cable you posted in the link and yours you see the threads out a bit ... but... on the place you bought it from I do not see any

The thru bolt must ride on the inside of the little nut as well as the long one

The adjustment is most likely (however slight) there

The long nut turns in the void. So we must pass the small nut below the fixing in order to adjust.

I just mentioned the drum shoe adjustment because too much free play at the drum shoes will cause excessive movement of the parking brake handle. Same thing also goes for excessive wear on the parking brake shoes.
