I need the plug with power wires that goes into the back of my FT2900. the one that came with the radio is in the cruiser, but I want a separate set up in the tow rig. anyone know what it is called and where I can fing one locally?

my old F350 had a plug that fit in it when I bought it, so I'm sure it can't be too uncommon. I'm hoping to get something so I can rig it quick for tomorrow.

Does it plug directly into the radio? Both my radios have a short pigtail with a plug on it. If that is it, I have the connectors. Is this it?

Whoah. Score.

I have been looking for a duplicate Yaesu power plug for a while, and I have been unable to find one locally at all. They can be ordered separately from HRO or Hamcity, but I've been too lazy to do even that.

I stopped by Specialty Communication to see if they stocked them, but Paul said that they didn't. However, they are just 0.25" spades inside there, so you can put everyday spade connectors on there for a quick fix.

Dan,

Correct, they are a 1/4" roll-over spade with a tang to hold the terminal inside the connector. I think they are called OEM connectors and come in 2+ terminal configurations. I usually try to keep several around. They are actually used in several places on 60 series LCs.

Yes, that's it! I'm at work today in the SV. I leave tomorrow morning to go home, finish packing and get out of town. when/ where's a good place for me to get one from you? or can they be found at Walmart.

Stop by the garden. I have a cable set up.

thanks a ton. I'll stop by about 9:15-9:30.
