still waiting on the machine shop for my stupid spacers.....

cant measure for my speedy sleeve untill i get the spindle back from the machine shop, where im waiting for the spacers that i have been waiting on for 2 weeks now...

I H8 WAITING...lol

till then, you'll have to wait :grin:

and see my NEXT MINI PROJECT....but im not revealing anything yet. too bad it aint a cruiser..lol

gawd damn, Mr. Grinder has some progress finally on the cruisah!

left side is done, sans brake line and steering stops!!! whew!

i got this steering setup from 4x4labs, but im concerned on the amount of tierod threads showing. i dont think it is strong enough i.e. the tie rod was cut too short....what do you think? i redneck aligned it kinda to about where it should be....this just doesnt seem right to me...

still trying to figure out WTF to do for a speedy sleeve....unless someone has another spindle floating around that has a better seal surface than this one.

heres a few pics on the seal that i need fixed......

yea, i bought a vineer caliper off of the truck, it will be here on monday, ill have to manually measure it and look it up on the application chart from sizes.


the high steer was from www.4x4labs.com


im going to contact luke and see what we can do with the tie rod seeming to be short

and i got some spacers for the backing plate, THEY COST 80 FREAKING DOLLARS to make!!! :mad: :mad:
jeebus, i would have ground down some washers if i knew they were going to be that much to make......im NEVER going back to that machine shop

i got some 38.5x11x15 boggers i traded for my 35's



mounted 'em up this week.
