....gunna do a bushed side support rod top the hanger bar and then we should be good. it sounds like a HUI, but thats only cause there not but 6 foot of straight pipe per run. Boys, it's a beast, a right BORE. O my. I think that with the extra diameter of the exhaust valve and the extry duration fer the exhaust valve due to the CAM, that the thing doesn't really light off till about 3
it's got turbo lag
That's alot of work on those manifolds.
What other coating options would be considered for? Hi temp paint? PC?
Is ceramic out of the question since a pot metal part that couldn't take the additional heat that ceramic may cause?
Those are cast iron, the only thing that would hold up is ceramic.
Wonder if they'd be more prone to deforming if the ceramic does what should in keeping the heat in the coated part?
Would it be wrong to oil up the manifolds with bacon? Haha.
That's exactly what the point was, only I got my hands slapped for trying to use the bacon grease
like it's a food item or something. yeah, cured like cast iron cookware. your choice of oil...bake at 350 till they stop smokin...you're a picture reader, aren't you![]()
Cure 'em with bacon and you'll have all the dogs chasing you.

Let me know next time you're going to be in Fresno...I didn't end up using those headersThank You for bringing them up tho.
