Interesting…didn’t know you get a fox it ticket for ditch lights. What if they have a cover?

The Firestone bags (4.75"x10") didn't end up fitting into the Eibach rear load-leveling setup. The springs are smaller I.D. at 3.75" compared to standard lift springs. After some research it was recommended I pick up some Airlift 60910 (4.0" X 9.0"). My other project vehicle has been down for over a year waiting on parts so I haven't prioritized installing those for towing. I've been fairly happy with the current +250lbs springs on the rear for static load. If I add much more static weight I will probably switch to the +400 springs otherwise I will throw in the Airlift springs (will probably do that anyway). So hows the Firestone Air Bags working out for ya?
On the fence over here between the height control delete(stiffer springs, progressives?) or grabbing a pair of air bags and setting them up like you mentioned..
Im a little worried about pinching bags(heard rumors) that go inside the rear could spring, but I did see a nylon/cordoba cover for those helper bags to help things slip. Cant for the life of me find them again.
The other option is to replace the rear bumpstops with an air spring bellow and weld on a perch but I am not sure about the internal bumpstop on these things..
Although the big rigs, when not running sit on their internal stops.. But sitting and no-roading have completely different dynamics.
Anyways, I broke the bottom bolt that keeps the stock compressor from rattling so either way Im half way there!
Any input would be appreciated.

Yeah, my 03 Ford is giving me a hard time too. Held up pretty good for what it went through(2wd Cactus Jumper and 289k odo) but it is desperately in need of a complete workover.. Rattles all the time now and keeps spewing random liquids at me seemingly everytime I open the hood. But at least theres no rust, right? The Firestone bags (4.75"x10" didn't end up fitting into the Eibach rear load-leveling setup. I do have these bumpstops on the back (came with the lift kit) Progressive Bump Stop Kit - https://www.peaksuspension.com/products/progressive-bump-stop-kit and Durobumps on the front. Going from the OEM bumpstops to the Durobumps made a big difference. Will have to see if I need something more extreme when I add weight.Yeah, my 03 Ford is giving me a hard time too. Aw dang. I was really hoping those bags would work for ya. And thank you for the airbag info, numbers are always useful reads.
Have you looked into Timbren bumpstops? They have a progressive feel under load and have been pretty durable so far..
To be honest, I can barely notice the transitioning from spring to bumpstop with my rear Toytec Superflex goodies(3in/+10%).
Might work even better with higher load rated springs?..
Funny thing is, that's exactly why I went with Safelite to begin with.Ah…i found a small windshield glass repair shop in Arcadia California (LA County) who installed a new windshield on my gx470 even though I have ditch lights.
It was under $225 in 2019 I think. But if you are in a small town, then good luck.
Looks like I dropped the ball there.. If you paid with credit card, dispute the charge saying that the business did not provide the services you paid for.Wow.. Safelite wont even refund all of my money, they're keeping fees and taxes. Crooks!
Just dont do it folks, what a pain in the a**.
Before I went to do that, I gave corporate a chance to explain these charges to me.If you paid with credit card, dispute the charge saying that the business did not provide the services you paid for.
Seems like the link or pic didnt come through, could you repost?Amazon product ASIN B087QYGBF4I used these. Seemed to work good. Especially for the price!
