Secondaries, jounce, heavy tie rods, and new rear shocks are here/on the way! More updates once I get it all in and schedule my install.

Heavy gauge cables and a 300A bus breaker.

The winch mount is in. There are some differences with the Prado to GX that needed to be addressed:

- there are body mount pieces protruding in front of the radiator and under the lights that have to be removed.
- There is an extra AC line that has to be moved and re-secured, and it is even more difficult because it goes through where the reinforcement bracket goes.

Dan, I was wondering if you could send me the photos of your ARB bumper install? When I view your threads on the forum most of the pictures are not coming up. I am about to start next week with a friend installing and trimming the fenders and flares. Thanks

Friend me on FB and all the pics will come up.

Dan,

I have been following your bulid thread for some time. Really love what you have accomplished! I have some question about the front bumper and winch install. On the forum here the pics did not show up. Only saw a few x x x x x. Could you possible send me some install photos of your modification to the front end bits and hoses?? I have the bumper off and bumper support and upper trim across the front. Now im looking at the 3 protruding smal braces below the grill and lights that need to be "removed/ altered" and would like to see how/where you moved the hoses. Also some more pics of fender persuading and flare trim.

Got back to you on FB. Will get what you need but it is pretty easy to do once you mock up the bumper.

Quick update. Lots of new stuff on the GX:

Front and rear jounce almost done
Front secondaries installed (icon resi cdc)
Rear 2.5 Icons (resi, cdc)
ARB storage on order, along with a drop down fridge slide and possibly the first stainless ARB fridge in north america.
SPOD for electrical clean up.
Got the big tie rods in too.
Lotus axles are here, but need to install.

Coming along!

I'm going to attempt saying this in the most masculine straight awkward way possible. "That suspension makes my effing nipples hard." Great looking setup Dan!

Hey Dan, does the UCA not contact your reservoir hose? Looks close from that angle!

Plenty of room. Cycled to fill stuff with no primary in and works fine. It does look close in pictures but it isn't

That fridge setup is awesome.
That is a stock photo, but you get the idea. Mine is on a slow boat from Aussie land. The drawers are trickling in.

Yeah, I have a march delivery date :p

Good stuff. Seeing these nasty suspension setups make me regret my KDSS decision, but I am trying not to go overboard with this build. My 4Runner got away from me, haha.

This is my first time going all the way on suspension. I have had so many trucks and did just enough, but now I want it all! I plan on keeping the GX a very long time. You know you have the right truck when you are in year 9 of the build and you 1) dont realize it has been that long, and 2) aren't tired or wandering to see what the next truck will be. I still love the GX as much as the day I got it!
