Anyone hear from him? I am more concerned about him than my money

I texted the number that confirmed my order and sent a request via the contact block and have received no response. I have seen the grill from the first run so know it is legit and he is a paid vendor here so not feeling anything shady is going on here

Anyone know him or his name to see if he is OK or if something happened to him?

Strange this thread has gone completely silent. Seems to me someone out there should know something.....especially since people have money sitting out there for orders placed.
I agree, I was happy to be patient with the 60 day ETA which we have now met, but to have no updates during this time period from the seller is concerning. The first round of pre-orders there were quite a few updates along the way about the status of the manufacturing/shipping progress.

That is good news. Glad he is OK and had a nice time! It is important to get a break

I got mine today. Never received any tracking info so was a pleasant surprise

Got mine installed! Still have to wire up the raptor lights.

Now I need to black out the headlights or get some sport headlights.

Oh my. I am so sorry I left you guys hanging.

I have been off the Forums for a while and completely forgot about this thread (forgot to subscribe to it).

Thank you for everyone that was concerned about my well being. Besides a bout with COVID, I can say I'm a-ok. With the exception of some brain damage apparently. 🤯

All Round 2 orders placed BEFORE November shipped and should have been delivered before the holidays. Orders placed November 1 - Current are expected to ship this month.

We've had to ship some nameplate and LED lamps that the warehouse overlooked - but all those *should* be shipped on our dime.

If ANYONE is awaiting a replacement, anything, let us know and we'll make it right.

I’m having a terrible experience with this vendor. They sent me a grille without the insert (Toyota). I have sent a ton of emails, DMs to the vendor with no reply. I don’t know even know what to do at this point. This is why I don’t often purchase products from small businesses that do not have customer service rep. Or a phone #.

Order# 5161

I’m so frustrated.

Any suggestions?

I may have to file a claim with PayPal.

Still no answer?

For what it's worth - I checked our sales / e-mail history on this.

maddtv posted on October 18th - we shipped a replacement nameplate on October 19th.

At the time we were absolutely buried in shipping orders and 1) forgot to include the nameplate on his order and 2) took a few days to respond to his initial e-mail. 100% our bad, of course, but it was rectified fairly promptly.

Just wanted to apologize to anyone left hanging here in this thread once more.

It looks like ALL my notifications for the forums got shut off in September. I think I used a 'mass unsubscribe' feature to scrub my email box of junk and the forum notifications got caught up in that. Regardless, for questions about orders - e-mail is best - but I'll make a concerted effort to stay active (and resubscribed) to threads.

Welcome back @urj150!
Sorry about your course of infection, and glad your well and back now! I hope you had some mind/stress break and some re-creation to help get fresh again.

Keep on keeping on brother, I certainly appreciate your interest, persistence and efforts to supply a rad and novel product people want.

Thanks bud! If I could I'd play with my toys (cars n trucks) all day I would. But alas the real world always seems to butt in.

We have been working on a couple more fun projects. So sooner or later we should have something cool to share. 🙃

Just a quick update for anyone that is in need of some install tips. Our friends at Awesomoto put together a bang up video outlining the entire install process:

Here are some other useful tips:
1) Although we include hardware, it is really best to reuse or source OEM hardware. If your hardware is rusty, a little brake cleaner and wire brush goes a long way. But if you want to order new, the Lexus part number for the Bolt is 90109-05095, the Lexus part number for the Nut is 90080-17202.

2) When you remove your hood latch. Make sure you reinstall it in the same orientation. Take a photo before you remove it if you are worried about this.

3) If you have gaps in the grille, try loosening / adjusting / re-tightening until you have the fitment you desire.

4) There are many ways to install the Raptor Lights. Please review the video above for a few options.

IMPORTANT: If you are not comfortable with installing the grille or Raptor Lights yourself, PLEASE seek the help of an experienced body shop.

I got the grille a couple weeks back and I wanted to report that overall I'm very happy with the product and the expectations set of the process. The grille looks good and the insert arrived packaged well also. The grille was packaged in bubble wrap and looked well made. There were a couple injection forming marks, but only in discrete locations. I shaved them off easily and was ready to install. I did use the stock hardware for the grille, and found they worked well after I cleaned them up. I liked the fit after a bit of fiddling and locked it down. As others have said, don't tighten them too much or you risk breaking the tabs.

If I were to make one critical comment, it would be to stagger the raptor light harness to tidy up what's behind the grille. Take a grain of salt with this as this may not work for everyone... there are various ways to wire the grille. I chose to run the wires to one side of the hood and under (above actually) the hood insulation on the drivers side edge to follow the strut down to the engine bay. This means I had some spare wire to tidy up in between the centre and left side raptor light behind the grill.

This is a minor challenge in my install, but depending on how you route the wires it may actually be advantageous. When the days are longer I'll simply stagger the harness myself.

Overall I would recommend the product. I have gotten a few compliments in the couple few days it's been on, and personally I love the look, especially with the Red Dog bumper
