Question for the hive...
I'm in the last stages of installing White Knuckle Off-Road rock sliders on my 460. Passenger side slider went on easily. Driver side, not so much.
Here's the problem: At the front-most mounting point for the driver side slider, the hard lines are contacting the big u-bolt that goes around the frame to hold the slider on and in place. WKOR supplies a nut/bolt to insert in the bottom of the metal bracket that (from the factory) bolts the hard lines to the frame. Despite using the supplied nut/bolt, and even trying additional spacers and longer screws, I can't get it so that the hard lines and u-bolt aren't contacting one another. The hole where the provided screw goes only pushes the bottom of the two hard lines away from the frame/u-bolt and the top of the two lines stays effectively in place. Anyone have thoughts on how to deal with this? So close to this install being done, just this one piece of the puzzle left and it's smooth sailing.
