Got my rear cargo area mostly completed regarding protection and keeping the dogs from making their way up front. Good ole' american make product from Canvasback and Raingler to the rescue. Pics coming this weekend as I give the interior a quick vacuum and wipe down.

I have a GX that can do more trails than it can't and I have built it over and over again over the years. The journey was the fun for a while for sure. Once I got to a point where I have very little left to do I started using it more. Oddly, as GXOR becomes bigger and more post their pics and adventures., I have been posting less. More work to do in the planning parts and social media management and the 9to5 and our house, animals, and of course a newly wed first year! Lots going on, a few of the biggest and most capable GX470s out there....want to sit by a river more and more every day haha.

Glad to know side-by-side owners are crazy everywhere. We've encountered some crazy individuals in our riding in WV and southwest VA. As a rider of an ATV, I'm usually cautious around the corners because they love to just hammer on the gas around here.

I understand some of it chemically, but haven't had the time or the space to really dig into it from a whose who standpoint.
But, I have corrected some vehicles with it on there.
It definitely is longer lasting than wax.
It definitely isn't going to protect you from pin striping.
It might protect you from a crappy car wash and the ensuing paint damage.
Like all waxes, treatments, so on, prep is still king, don't put it over swirls expecting the hazing to go away.
IDK if I was paying to have it done I would first make sure I got PPF done.
For how much most of the options cost I would 100% make sure you pick one that is quality from a known maker.

Since you mentioned EV... my cabin "toy" for winter.. can't use it for a while...and I have no other electric vehicles including bicycles.

That looks very fun and practical... until idiots start abusing trails and parks, much like the sbs's have done.
Used responsibly for commuting and/or allowed areas and trails, all thumbs up!!
@r2m agreed... my cabin is snowbound in winter and instead of walking in or hauling a trailer with another sled over this should make for easier ingress/egress travel to/from and then some light riding around immediate cabin areas. I'd still take the snowmobiles on further journeys. Niche insurance and state DOL has lots of head scratching on how to license this even with existing gas snow bike laws. Heavy lifting cargo transport I now use my tracked Grizzly ATV

Stoptech pads and rotors are on the way; debating if I should throw on some stainless lines while I'm at.

, get the extended while your doing it.Yeah if you dig into their FAQ they just say they are not EPA certified for fuel, but there is no doubt in my mind that they could be used for gasoline if desired.
Of course, not the easiest to access when needed, but balance that against having an emergency fuel stash that is completely out of the way otherwise, it's really tempting.

I actually am wondering if the best spot for us is using one of the half ladders from NashFab and mounting a can of some sort on that.
Feels like the GX eats brakes... mine were starting to squeal after 28k mikes (mostly city).
Trying out the TRD pro brake pads (PTR09-89111) this go around. Rotors looks great so I just did a pad slap.
Got some funny looks doing the Breakin procedure, but they do seem to have better bite then the OEM Lexus pads.
For science, I also ordered a set of endless SSY (front) and SSS pads (rear) from Japan. Will use those next year when I need to replace my brakes again, lol. Was surprised even with shipping, they are only about 10% more expensive than the Trd pads.

Just did rear brakes at 106k miles. Albeit, I purchased the vehicle at 32k miles and have not done brakes yet.
The only issue I had was slight pulsing/warping several years ago. Had them turned and they've been fine since.
Although, I do use my shifting an awful lot! I'll shift on long down grades to keep my speed, sometimes slowing down for traffic or lights. Actually kind of enjoy the sifting a little since I miss manual tranny's (except in stop-n-go traffic).

Did a LOF and a PS fluid Drain and fill. For those that havent yet done it themselves, I used a diff oil bottle pump to pull the fluid out and replaced it 3 times, and will likely check it later this week again.
