I found that there aren't any videos or forum detailing the steps to remove the glove box. I recently had to replace the passenger side AC servo in my '16 460 and I strung together the steps to do so since the manual is basically a bunch of hyperlinks to the graphics and diagrams thrown all over the manual so you have to do a lot of jumping back and forth. I can't put all the images here, but I'll try my best to describe the steps in as much detail as possible.
Note: all bolts in these steps are 10mm.
Step 1: Disconnect the negative battery terminal, obviously
Step 2: Remove the black plastic undercover in the passenger footwell. It's one screw that's facing the passenger seat, and the thing should slide back and down out of the footwell. There is a connector for the footwell courtesy light, just pull it out.
Step 3: Remove the door sill kick panel thing. This is the plastic trim in the bottom side of the door when you open it, the part that says "LEXUS". This part pries out, there are a lot of clips holding it in place, just use a trim tool around the panel to remove it. If you have the lit LEXUS text, there will be a connector for the light, disconnect the connector once the panel is out and you can remove the panel.
Step 4: Remove the outer footwell trim board. This is the big plastic kick panel on the door-side of the footwell, next to your right foot. There's a plastic screw thingy towards the back of the panel (deep into the footwell, towards the firewall) the holds it in place. You can twist this screw out with your finger, then there will be two clips holding it in place near the doorway. Just pull the panel out once the plastic screw thing is out.
Step 5: Remove the leather trim on the side of the center console. This is the big L shaped leather panel that runs along the side of the center console then up the dashboard next to the audio controls. It's held together by a bunch of clips, just pry it out with your fingers or a trim tool.
Step 6: Remove the inner footwell trim board. This is the plastic piece in the inner side of the footwell, next to your left foot, opposite the panel from step 3. It's held by two clips towards the front of the panel (seat side) and then one claw towards the back of the panel (firewall side). Pry out the two clips then the panel should pull back (towards the seat) and out.
Step 7: Remove dashboard side panel. This is the D shaped plastic panel on the side of the dashboard, facing outwards towards the passenger door. It's toward the top of the dash, next to the AC vent. It's held by 3 clips along the curved edge and two claws along the back edge (these clip into the doorsill). Pry out the 3 clips and the panel should come back (towards the back of the car) and out.
Step 8: Remove leather trim from dashboard. This is the rectangular leather trim piece that side right over the glove box and under the wood trim in front of the passenger. It's just a bunch of clips, should come out with your fingers or a trim tool.
Step 9: Remove the wood trim/AC vent panel. This is the panel that sits right on top of the leather trim from step 8. The leather trim, AC vent, and silver colored plastic surrounding the whole thing are all one piece. It's also held by a bunch of clips that should come outwit your hand or pry it out with a trim tool.
Step 10: Remove the passenger knee airbag bolt cover piece. If you look at the passenger side knee airbag, there will be a small plastic rectangular panel on the left side of the panel (towards the center console). Remove this piece to get access to the bolts holding the airbag panel in place. It's just clipped into the airbag, it should come out with a trim tool or flathead screwdriver, just pry it off.
Step 11: Remove passenger knee airbag. There are 3 bolts holding the airbag panel in place, 2 on the left side (where that plastic cover was from step 10) and 1 on the right side. Remove those bolts, then from there the panel is held by 6 clips, use a trim tool to pry it out. There is a connector for the airbag, it's kinda hard to remove and I didn't want to damage it, so I just left it there and moved the airbag panel out of the way.
Step 12: Remove the glove box screw cover pieces. Open the glove box, at the top of the opening you'll see 3 little rectangular plastic panels, these cover 3 screws that hold the glove box panel in place. use a trim tool or flathead screwdriver to remove each one.
Step 13: Remove the glove box. There are 3 screws and 2 bolts that hold it in place. The 3 screws are the ones under the 3 plastic covers from step 12. The 2 bolts are at the bottom of the glove box, there's one on the bottom left corner and one on the bottom right corner. Remove the 3 screws and 2 bolts, then from there it's just a few clips. Pull the glove box back and out. There's a connector for the glove box light, disconnect it once the glove box is out.
To reinstall everything, do these steps in reverse order. Pretty straight forward.
Feel free to ask any questions. This process isn't that bad, it took me maybe 20 mins to do this. Funny enough I'm going to have to do this again today because I realized this morning I forgot to reconnect the connectors for the door sill panel light, footwell courtesy light, and glove box courtesy light.
