If your GX470 front calipers need to be replaced because they are old or they are stuck/seized, here are the parts to upgrade to the bigger GX460 calipers/rotors

GX460 Front Caliper/Rotor Upgrade

• 47730-60300 GX460 Right Front caliper is larger to fit the thicker GX460 rotors
• 47750-60300 GX460 Left Front caliper is larger to fit the thicker GX460 rotors
• 04945-60090 (1) anti squeal shim set (invoice says two but Bell Lexus corrected and refunded one)
• 04947-35050 (1) Anti-rattle springs for upper and lower (optional lower)
• 43512-60191 (2) Gx460 front rotors (thicker by 1/4”) help dissipate heat better
• Front ceramic brake pads Akebono ACT976 same as GX470. Or your favorite GX470 brake pads

There are two part numbers for the calipers they are side specific due to the brake line and bleeder location.

You are right…I looked at my invoice incorrectly. Fixed it and included my invoice

Did the 460 upgrade years ago and never looked back, zero issue since. Warped multiple 470 rotor sets including Brembo parts prior. Totally worth it.

Yes. You're essentially changing the caliper and rotors up front to 460 stuff. I believe the front pads are even the same between 470/460 but I could be wrong.

I did this in 2021 about 50k miles ago and have never looked back either.

I don't think you actually want the small parts with the Akebono pads, they have the shims permanently affixed, and between the pads and the factory caliper set I just bought I had more than enough anti-rattle clips.

Is this part number for '10-14 GX460 calipers? i recall reading they changed them on the '14+ and the calipers had larger holes or something.

Yes, part numbers are for the 2010-2013 GX460 which uses the same bolt size as the GX470.

In 2014, the GX460 calipers use a thicker bolt. You can buy a bolt sleeve to fit the 2014+ calipers on the GX470
