Hi everyone,

First off, thanks to everyone for posting on here this site has been a fantastic resource!

Could some of you chime in here, I'm trying to decide on a set of rear springs for my GX. What I'm looking for is an honest 2" lift over stock. I have already swapped everything out (Bilsteins and FJ springs) but rear is too low & feels too squishy. I'd rather put in the right springs then use spacers.

I've been looking at the usual suspects (Toytec super flex, super flex HD, Icon etc...) and as we all know these work across the different platforms stating a 2" lift but will I actually net that on the GX?
What are you guys running and what are your measurements (centre axle to flare)?
I've spoken to Wheelers about this but did not get a definitive answer one way or another so I figured I'd throw it at you guys.

Cheers,

J

I think the SuperFlex are more like 1.5" My right rear is at 23 3/8" But its actually hard to measure up to the wheel well which has a bow on it.

I went with the soft ride springs because I want a smooth ride. I also have airlift bags incase I am really loaded. Best of both worlds in my opinion

I'm running the HD superflex and the rear sits right at 24". I like this setup as they are stiff but not uncomfortable, loaded down they ride really nice. Still planning on pairing them with some Airlift bags like wingy mentioned above.

Hey guys thanks for the info.

Kbahus - my truck is sitting at 22.25" at the rear wheels

These measurements are great, debating now between reg super flex and the HD's.

Bags are long gone, I've got FJ springs in there now with a 1" spacer.
This will be my second time pulling this apart that's why I was looking for some height measurements so I'll hopefully have some assurance that I'll get what I want out if it this time!

Both. As per my original post these FJ springs just aren't going to cut it.

The measurements that both co4wheel & Scat Adams provided are perfect. Anyone else out there mind measuring your heights with Toytec Superflex springs installed?

Cheers

J

I have Radflo 2" coils in the rear and they're great... Think they're made by eibach. They ride really well.

I'll be replacing mine w Icon Expedition 3" coils in 3-4 weeks to accommodate extra weight when I install metal tech rear bumper. If you're interested, I'd be happy to sell you my 2" Radflo coils.

I have the ToyTech Superflex rear springs and my measures right at 23". The ride is very smooth but firm even without any extra weight in the back.

I guess you guys are measuring at the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the wheel arch?
