I'm thinking about putting rear springs on my wife's GX and getting rid of the air suspension what are the best springs i should go with I want it'll be a little bit higher than the front

Stock?

Yes it is stock I'm not going to do any Lyft it's my wife's

Thanks for the info guys I just bought some coils from Napa, they're just temporary until my new air bags arrive it's my wife's vehicle she likes the air suspension ride, me I drive an 80 that's all I need

I used the SSO kit with no shims (can add 1/4 or 1/2" height with the shims), and FJ Cruiser rear springs, and got a bit of a rake forward, about 1/2" over stock air suspension on "N" setting. If I was doing it over again I'd use 4Runner springs and one of the shims, as I never have the rear seats in ours and it seems to ride nicer with a bit of weight in the back. The 4Runner springs have slightly less spring rate so it would likely suit our needs better, and the shims can make up the height difference.

Yeah mine is about the same height with my coils I did notice with the coils it handles a little firmer especially around corners , like l said it's my wife's ride she likes the air suspension I picked up a set of Lexus airbags for 250 a pair

Now I know there's a lot of talk on this but I did not put any isolators on my coil springs it did not call for any isolators that's the way Toyota has been doing it for a long time my 80 doesn't have any isolators

You won't get the same height without the isolators as they sandwich between the top of the spring and truck, and you may get additional noise from metal on metal. The factory 4Runners, FJC's, and Prado's with rear coils all use them. 80's are a different platform.

So far I have no noise I understand all that like I say they're just temporary thanks for the info the factory airbags did not come with any isolators it's metal-to-metal

Sure, but the factory airbags aren't coil springs....lol! I'm sure you'll be just fine as it's a temporary solution.
