Wait, how did end up in the 70 series section?
Asking for a 60 series.
I don't know how you ended up in the 70 series tech section but that's where I posted my original question. This is with regards to my hzj75 trophy

I was looking around for info on gull wings for my 62…
Seems like a good mod especially on the driver side

From Explor Glazing:

Thank you for your question. Our gullwing windows are designed to open exclusively from the outside and are intended to provide quick and easy access to the cargo area. This feature cannot be modified.

I contact Camco, makers of RV windows and hatches etc and,...

Unfortunately, you are correct. The baggage compartment locks that you are referring to only lock and open from the outside.
Camco doesn't offer anything that opens from the inside and outside.

Most all gull-wing manufacturers will choose compression style latches for their doors for good reason, they are simple, seal better and smaller (aesthetics). And most people are using gull-wings for better access to the contents, not the other way around.

If you want bi-directional handle, you can pretty much use any RV lock but it'll be a slam style latch. They are designed for 1.25-1.5" thick doors and so there will be substantial hardware on the inside.
