I spoke with Hendog yesterday. I am getting a 'free' registration from a friend who won it at a west coast raffle. Henry says since I have my own registration, I should show up in a separate rig. We're talking about me driving his 45 out.:bounce::bounce::bounce:

Excellent lookin forward to seeing you again.

Just registered, including the expo run. This will be my first event...woo-hoo!
One question...are dogs allowed?

Yes dogs are allowed, we do request you don't bring them to the pavilion at meal times.

Cool ! That's 3 for the expo run. Roger are you doing expo run too, how are you recovering so far?

No , I need to stay around registration and Thurs I need to get supplies and set up for cook out. Recover is going good, couple more weeks of PT and I'll be good to go.

You should have gotten an e mail with a link to list your info.

Yeah , I was able to adjust that info (cruiser series and home state) after I registered

Campfire policy? Just curious as to what the policy/practice is this year. I get the community campfire thing near the pavilion but the loud music and bright lights made me seriously miss having the intimacy of a small localized campfire. I know there are no rings in the gravel area but curious if one of those portable fire pits like you see at home Depot would be an acceptable alternative.

I think small fires will be OK as long as they are not out in the gravel areas and people don't leave trash ( cans bottles etc. ) in the fires. As far as I know this area is still used for ATV competition events

We were in the area to the right of the bath house just before the main gate to go up to the pavilion next to Nick and Patrick and we had a small fire every night I was there. Can't remember, but I think we had a metal ring up there. It was there when we got there so I have no idea where it came from. Unless you are talking about closer to the main pavilion, then I'm just blowin' hot air.

Those are pay spots and people can reserve them, as several people found out when they had to move. The free primitive camping is inside the gate/fence area around the pavilion and in an overflow area we have on top of the hill.

What is the date on the pass , sounds like it is from a couple years ago

The main camp sites (pay sites) before you get to the open camping area we were set up in had individual fire rings as well.

The handwritten envelope cover says Free Registration to GSMTR 2014. You'll have to get with Shirley on that. My friend won it on a Rubicon trip.

IIRC, Shirley outbid everyone at GSMTR 2012 for the MetalTech treatment for Rubithon 2013. That would have put him there in June, increasing the odds that he put a pass in the raffle for this year. Of course there are several assumptions there. Just going with the facts I know.

Send me your e mail address and I'll send you a registration form.

28 days till GSMTR, only 17 days till price goes up. If you have not already registered it’s time. You don’t want to miss this one. Go To http://www.stlca.org/gsmtr/ to register.
