Mark your calendars folks! GSMTR is back with an all new venue, new trails, same great people, spectacular vendors and huge raffle.

Bring the whole family for an entire week of wheeling (4WD/MX/ATV), cruiser talk (tall tales), good food, competition, great vendors, swap meet, and more.

This fairly new +500 acre facility features 4WD, ATV & MX trails, a couple fishing ponds, ample tent camping and RV sites, children's playground, a huge pavilion with 4 smaller pavilions, 5 bunkhouse rooms that sleep 3-4, real bathroom facilities (no portajohns) and lots of open grassy lawn space for field activities.

I'm trying to get everything in order with my schedule so I can go, even if its just for a short time. Every time I plan on making a big trip, something bad happens so we will see how this turns out.

That's good to hear. I don't think anyone will come away from this year's event unhappy. We are going to have some great events during the week. As well we have some great sponsors making the show.

I am working on a planned/guided trip up to Burgess Falls SP for a little hike and scenic viewing of the three big waterfalls just north of Sparta. Looks pretty nice up there.

Fall Creek Falls state park is close by and is also very cool. Visited it at one of the WEROCK events last year.

Whew!! Long drive from those of us in the southern part of the state. I'm 90% there considering the Army doesn't get really really LAME on me, which you can't spell TRADOC without LAME..ohh wait you can . I should have a 4 week period off during those dates that they will have me doing lame details but I can at least afford to take leave then.

I went last year in my Jetta since the trails were closed. Looking forward to actually getting some time out on the trails. Hopefully it isn't all as difficult as it looks in the videos. I tried youtubing some but they all look equally rough.

I think this park will have plenty to offer. Most YT videos are only the rough stuff. See all the orange trails for mid level difficulty. I should have a better description of the trails by next week though.

I've been to the park, all kinds of terrain, lots of rocks, so that's why i like the trails. Should be fun.

Not positive but I think somewhere around June 9th-13th. I would leave here early on the 9th and then leave early again on the 13th.

I'm trying to figure out how to use the least amount of leave but still get up to NC to pick up my parts. I would like to have them before this ride but I don't think that is going to happen.

I'm heading up from Anniston at about noon on fiday the 11th. If anyone wants to caravan or ride with me your more than welcome to. If you want to ride we have a fenced/gated facility that you can leave your vehicle in for the weekend.
